NEW YORK
The New York Chapter of the OperaWorks Alumni Association (OWAA) is dedicated to creating an effective networking forum among OperaWorks alumni based in New York and more specifically New York City. Our vision is to facilitate the transition from the comforts of being an OperaWorks Emerging and/or Advanced Artist to the challenges of pursuing a professional career in opera performance.

Emily Serotta (AAP 2010), Rebecca Blinder (2007 AAP) & Laura Parker (2004 AAP)
The New York City Chapter will both celebrate and continue to cultivate the ideals of OW by hosting networking events for alumni in the NYC area as well as provide performance opportunities for OWAA members, ranging from fully-staged operas to recitals and workshops.
Chapter Head Emily Serotta participated in the AAP in 2010 and lives in Brooklyn. She is on the music faculty at Saint Ann's School in Brooklyn Heights and performs with opera companies around New York City.
